External General Counsel

At Limehouse LLC, Thomas A. Limehouse, Jr. brings a wealth of experience as a trusted advisor at the highest levels of government and in private practice.  As former Chief Legal Counsel to South Carolina’s Governor, Thomas advised on complex executive, legislative, and regulatory matters, managed litigation in state and federal courts and coordinated with agencies and stakeholders on issues ranging from energy and trade to emergency management and compliance.  Based on this prior experience in both the public and private sectors, Limehouse has developed a broad understanding of the relevant legal landscape and various policies, processes, and pitfalls present in both arenas.  This dual perspective has afforded Limehouse a unique vantage point from which to anticipate challenges, foster collaboration, and serve as a strategic partner for businesses, nonprofits, and public entities.
